Your instructor will incorporate exercises that provide a full circuit training routine, building strength and stamina, while the fresh air and varied scenery will be far more inspiring and refreshing than the insipid walls of an indoor gym. 

 

If you love to run, then the park offers a real opportunity to try some Trail Running. Trail Running is growing in popularity as joggers enjoy the chance to get away from the traffic and pollution of the town centres, and to have a longer run with less interruptions for road crossings. Running through woodland trails is great for the body, with lower impact on joints while offering a greater workout as the body shifts position to maintain balance on uneven ground. 

 

For those who prefer a little more speed in their workout, the official cycle path runs through the edge of the park, and is clearly marked with routes to Wollaton Park or Attenborough Nature Reserve. Build up the distance you cycle over time, and discover a fun way to explore the local area at the same time.
